Our Mission

Pro-Qura was created by the world-renowned physicians of the Seattle Prostate Institute to promote quality brachytherapy planning. From pre-procedure planning to post-procedure analysis, Pro-Qura offers patients and medical professionals comprehensive, high-quality seed implantation services.

Pro-Qura's mission is to create the highest quality of life for prostate cancer patients through a network of experienced and qualified physicians dedicated to superior cancer care.

To that end, Pro-Qura offers ongoing training/mentoring opportunities to medical professionals, a semi-annual forum for discussion of advances in brachytherapy and an extensive database of brachytherapy information. Physicians in the ProQura network must consistently demonstrate high quality implants in their prostate cancer patients in order to maintain affiliation with ProQura. Patients seeking treatment from affiliated ProQura physicians can be reassured that their treatment is being delivered by qualified brachytherapy teams.
