Quality Assurance & Affiliation Program

Pro-Qura Affiliates are a network of radiation oncologists & urologists whose brachytherapy services follow the stringent evaluation criteria set by Pro-Qura's Scientific Advisory Board.

Currently, more than 150 physicians have reached affiliate status with the Pro-Qura program. There are approximately 150 more physicians enrolled to become affiliates. Pro-Qura is becoming recognized as an important resource for patients trying to locate highly qualified practitioners within the patient's geographic area.

The Affiliate Physicians

Before a radiation oncologist or urologist may become a Pro-Qura affiliated physician, they must first agree to submit all of their post-implant cases to Pro-Qura for a formal, independent analysis. One of our physicians (Dr. Peter Grimm or Dr. John Sylvester) personally reviews each case. If our criterion for a high quality implant is consistently met, physicians are then eligible to become affiliated and join the Pro-Qura Network. Through Pro-Qura, affiliates can become recognized leaders in prostate brachytherapy and serve as a vital tool for patients seeking superior cancer care.
